About Study Course
Objective
To provide an opportunity to acquire in-depth knowledge of critical and life-threatening conditions in internal diseases, so that the doctor can diagnose them and provide emergency medical assistance at the pre-hospital and hospital stage.
Learning outcomes
1.The student will know:
• Symptoms of acute gastrointestinal and pulmonological, endocrinological and nephrological diseases and formulate possible differential diagnoses.
• Name the findings of the laboratory and radiological examinations of the mentioned diseases, their significance
• Indications for a surgeon's consultation.
1.The student will be able to:
• Interpret the symptoms and syndromes of gastroenterological, pulmonological, endocrinological and nephrological diseases.
• Formulate indications for inpatient and outpatient treatment.
• Draw up an examination and treatment plan.
• Interpret laboratory and radiological findings.
• Perform pleural puncture.
