Objective
To ensure the acquisition and improvement of theoretical knowledge and practical skills on frostbite and burns, in accordance with the requirements of the Plastic Surgery specialty.
Learning outcomes
Knowledge
1.Knowledge of burn/frostbite morphology, classification clinic, principles of treatment, principles of burn disease, electrotrauma, rehabilitation.
Skills
1.Provide first aid in cases of burns/frostbite, ADP, debridement, fasciotomies, limb amputations, defect closures, Z plastics.
Competence
1.Able to independently treat burns and frostbite, applying the acquired knowledge and skills.
