Objective
To provide basic concepts and primary experience in diagnosis of heart and circulatory system diseases, using 3D echocardiography, X-ray, CT, MRI and digital angiography techniques.
Learning outcomes
Knowledge
1.To learn the relevancy of echocardiography, X-ray imaging, CT, MRI and angiography (coronarography) in diagnosing heart diseases and setting indications for cardiac surgery.
Skills
1.To perform simplified echocardiography and interprete the findings, to interprete coronarography findings.
Competence
1.To be able to interprete cardiology examinations, as well as to be able to handle professional primary and emergency aid.
