About Study Course
Objective
To acquire theoretical knowledge and practical skills in conceptual issues and latest scientific knowledge of health economics and pharmacoeconomics.
Prerequisites
According to specialty (no special prior knowledge is required).
Learning outcomes
1.On study course completion students will be able to identify the main elements of healthcare system and describe the financing methods; be able to specify and describe the main methods of economic evaluation in health care, as well as to explain the principles of system for reimbursement of expenditures for the acquisition of medicines.
1.On study course acquisition students will be able to identify the necessary data and use it to calculate specific economic indicators applied for healthcare.
1.On study course acquisition students will be able to analyse and interpret the obtained economic indicators, evaluate the tendencies of healthcare system development and suggest the solutions to possible problems, justifying their opinions.
