Objective

To promote students' physical activity in the open air by improving biomotor abilities as well as to acquire competencies for the benefit of the future society and patients / clients.

Prerequisites

On the need for physical activity in health prevention and care. The desire to be physically active and the opportunity to engage in outdoor physical activities.

Learning outcomes

Knowledge

1.As a result of the completion of the study course, the student will be able to:
• tell you about various exercises and classes outdoors, their use to strengthen health;
• provide knowledge of the use of Bungy pump, Nordic walking poles when exercising and training endurance and strength;
• outline the use of strength, flexibility and balance exercises outdoors;
• provide information on the content of various sports classes outdoors;
• explain the importance of proper breathing by performing different types of exercise;
• explain possibilities for posture improvement by performing technically correct outdoor exercises.

Skills

1.On successful course completion the student will be able to:
• use aerobic, strength and muscle stretching exercises to strengthen health;
• control own muscle work, dose the load;
• follow own well-being, control your heart rate during sports;
• to use various gym equipment, environment for developing and strengthening body muscles outdoors;
• create presentations of different types of exercises and exercises: lap training, interval training, high intensity training.

Competence

1.Using the acquired knowledge and skills, students will be able to evaluate the types of various sports activities and the benefits of outdoor activities, promoting the improvement of their health and physical fitness.
