On Tuesday, 16 September, the President of Latvia, Edgars Rinkēvičs, and the President of Finland, Alexander Stubb, will hold a discussion on artificial intelligence at the Medical Education Technology Centre of Riga Stradiņš University (RSU). The discussion will be moderated by Jānis Sārts, Director of the NATO Strategic Communications Centre of Excellence.

The discussion is part of Finnish President Stubb's state visit. He and his wife will be in Latvia on 16 -17 September. President Rinkēvičs and President Stubb are expected to discuss bilateral relations between the two countries, cooperation in the field of defence, security issues in the Baltic Sea region, Russia's war against Ukraine and support for Ukraine in its fight against Russian aggression, as well as the situation in the Middle East.
