Objective

Promote the education of highly qualified specialists - swimming senior coaches who would successfully plan, organise, manage and evaluate training - training process, training - methodological classes and competitions in accordance with the rules of the sport and the standard requirements of the sports senior coaching profession.

Prerequisites

Knowledge of sports theory, pedagogy, sports pedagogy, sports didactic, psychology or sports psychology, anatomy, physiology and biomechanics. Study courses and knowledge in sports theory, training didactics, pedagogy have been acquired.

Learning outcomes

Knowledge

1.Is familiar with the techniques of swimming methods, its biomechanical structure, the methodology of teaching and improvement of techniques in the training – training process.
Is familiar with sports swimming preparation directions, the impact of different physical loads on the athletes’ body. Is familiar with exercise load control techniques.
Is familiar with the characteristics of the development and teaching of age students, the training process. Knows the specifics and organisation of running competitions for athletes of different contingent and ages.

Skills

1.Apply theoretical knowledge of the improvement of sports swimming techniques, its biomechanical structure and teaching methodology, training – training process.

Competence

1.Competence in sports performance techniques, teaching and training methodologies.
