About Study Course
Objective
The aim of the study course is to develop for students a scientifically sound and critical understanding of cognitive and emotional processes as central research directions of psychology, theoretical models thereof, neurobiological bases and interactions with each other, as well as the research methods of these processes and their application in professional psychology practice.
Prerequisites
Knowledge of the basic principles of the functioning of the human body and nervous system at the general secondary education level and basic skills in critical thinking and information analysis.
Learning outcomes
1.DAnalyses the subject matter, main approaches, and significance of cognitive and emotion psychology for understanding human mental processes and behaviour.
1.Analyse the scientific texts of cognitive and emotional psychology, determining the purpose of the study, the methods used and key conclusions.
1.Integrates and applies knowledge of cognitive and emotional processes, their key concepts, theories, and research methods in analysing human mental functioning.
