About Study Course
Objective
To develop students’ understanding of the uniqueness of professional medecal communication as an essential component of the practical work of a doctor, to provide knowledge of basic principles of propedeutics, etiology, pathogenesis, clinical scene, laboratory and other investigations, differential diagnosis, diagnostic criteria, investigations, treatment plan and prevention of essential internal diseases, to develop practical skills in the examination of a patient, to familiarise themselves with the expression of internal diseases in the maxillo-facial area and oral cavity, basic principles of medication therapy, their side effects.
Prerequisites
Knowledge from introduction to medical history, ethics and law; human anatomy and physiology; biochemistry; microbiology; pathological anatomy and pathological physiology, pharmacology.
Learning outcomes
1.Students will gain knowledge of the most important heart, bronchial, lung diseases, endocrines, haematological, rheumatological, kidney and gastrointestinal tract diseases, their aetiology, pathogenesis, diagnostic criteria, treatment principles.
1.Students will gain knowledge of filling out hospital and outpatient medical records.
1.Students will be able to analyse the situation, demonstrate individual treatment of the patient and a creative approach in each clinical case.
