Objective

To provide students with theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the selection, application and evaluation of physiotherapy methods in the context of sports, promoting the improvement of athletes' functional abilities, injury prevention, rehabilitation and safe return to physical activities.

Prerequisites

Knowledge of human anatomy, dynamic anatomy, biomechanics.

1.Knowledge of functional assessment methods (movement analysis, evaluation of muscle strength, articulation and stability)

Skills

1.Functional assessment skills
- perform an athlete’s posture, movement and biomechanical analysis
- assess muscle strength, flexibility, stability and coordination
- use functional tests to evaluate athletic abilities

1.Ability to comprehensively assess an athlete’s functional condition, identify movement disorders and injury risks, and interpret the findings based on the principles of anatomy, biomechanics, and sports medicine.
