Why become a mentor?
Mentoring is an opportunity to share the knowledge you have gained throughout your career while discovering new ideas, meeting new people and gaining fresh perspectives.

- support student growth and help young entrepreneurs take their first steps in business;
- discover new ideas and solutions developed by RSU student teams;
- expand your professional network by meeting experts, entrepreneurs, researchers and members of the RSU community;
- become part of the RSU innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem by participating in mentoring evenings, meetings and other Business Incubator events.
How can you contribute?
Every team faces different challenges. One may need advice on its business model, while another may benefit from legal expertise or support with marketing, technology or finance.
Depending on your experience, interests and availability, you can:
- advise teams during individual mentoring sessions;
- lead group mentoring sessions;
- support a team’s development as a project supervisor;
- share your experience through discussions, events or masterclasses;
- participate in mentoring evenings and other RSU Business Incubator events.
The format, frequency and scope of your involvement will be agreed with you individually. Consultations can take place in person or online, in Latvian or English.
