Sport science is an interdisciplinary science that includes sport education, sport psychology, sport management and communication, sports medicine, sports physiology, and sports biomechanics.
The use of technology in sport research, the sport industry, the acquisition, analysis and monitoring of data on daily activity and workload in professional sport has become an integral part of science. Public health themes that focus on socio-economic aspects influence the quality of public life, athletic achievements and health in a broader context. Sport management and communication permeate and promote the sports science industries.
The international scientific conference is a platform for close cooperation with employers and industry representatives to promote Latvia’s economy and quality of life through sport science.
