The purpose of personal data processing – To submit a congratulation in honor of the 75th anniversary of Riga Stradiņš University. 

Categories of personal data and purposes of their processing

1. Name of the person, surname, represented structural unit - necessary for the identification of the person.

Legal basis for the processing of personal data: Article 6(1)(a) of the General Data Protection Regulation.

Recipient of personal data: University employees. 

Right to complain to the supervisory authority

The university ensures the fulfilment of data processing and protection requirements in accordance with regulatory enactments and, in case of objections, performs useful actions to resolve the objection. Processing and storage of personal data

The University will keep submitted congratulations for one year. The consent given shall remain valid until withdrawn.

What are the rights of a person?

A person has the right to get acquainted with his or her personal data, which is stored by the University. Also, a person has the right to request the correction, as well as deletion of this data – a person may at any time withdraw his or her consent to the processing of personal data.
