Information, bibliography and information literacy

Main tasks

• Provide information and bibliographic services (bibliographic references, consultations on the use of resources) to the Library's patrons
• Create bibliographic lists of information resources
• Encourage the use of bibliographic resources by patrons, incl. information literacy of Latvian health professionals about the Library's services, as well as open access publishing
• Ensure the editing and validation of data in the RSU Scientific Activity Information System (ZDIS Pure) of published works by RSU scientific and academic staff
• Provide training and support for ZDIS Pure users
• Provide research information support to RSU scientific and academic staff, from the inception of a research idea to the dissemination of research results
• Provide Library patrons with information sources that are not available in the Library's collection through the Interlibrary Loan or International Interlibrary Loan
• Contribute to the development of information literacy teaching resources
