The Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) Faculty of Public Health and Social Welfare is organising the International Summer School Riga 2022 (ISSR 2022), which this year will focus on Modelling and Simulation in Health Care. ISSR 2022 will take place on 15–19 August 2022 at 16 Dzirciema iela in Rīga.

Format

ISSR 2022 will be an intensive week of face-to-face and interactive on-site seminars. ISSR 2022 is organised within the framework of international cooperation in the Health Management master's programme and is open to international students, RSU programmes, as well as RSU academic and research staff.

A personal computer is preferred for the practical classes, special software will be provided, additional information for registered participants will follow.

Important information

  • Participation fee: 400 EUR, which includes: provision of the course program, materials and coffee breaks. Participants cover travel and subsistence expenses. RSU students and academic staff membership fee is covered by RSU.
  • Summer school schedule: Monday–Friday 9:00–18:00
  • Place: 16 Dzirciema iela, Rīga
  • Number of participants is limited (up to 30)
Depending on the Corona-Pandemic situation an additional hybrid/digital version of the ISSR 2022 might be optional. A final decision on an optional hybrid/digital participation will be made by the ISSR 2022 organisation team by mid-June 2022. Further information will be provided after the final decision.
