For Students

This September, the Riga Stradiņš University (RSU) business incubator B-Space launches a three-part workshop series 'Explore Get to Know', designed as a prelude to the pre-incubation program (PINK) starting in October.

The aim of the workshops is to introduce participants to entrepreneurship processes, provide inspiration for new business ideas through real industry challenges, and offer practical skills in leadership and design thinking.

The workshops will take place in person on the B-Space premises at 12 Vīlipa iela in Rīga. Participation is open to everyone, regardless of university, field of study or professional background.

Three workshops – three perspectives on entrepreneurship

The first workshop will take place on 10 September from 10:00 to 11:00, featuring representatives from TET, Junior Achievement Latvia and other businesses, who will share their experiences and highlight key challenges in their industries. These insights can serve as a source of inspiration for creating business ideas based on real market needs.

The second workshop on 17 September from 17:00 to 19:00 will focus on leadership and team management. Participants will have the chance to identify their own leadership style, explore group dynamics, and learn how to build a truly effective team.

The third workshop on 24 September from 10:00 to 12:00 will be led by entrepreneur and innovation consultant Kārlis Skuja, who will conduct a design thinking session. Participants will be introduced to the methodology, work in teams, and develop their own business ideas through hands-on practice.

Getting ready for the PINK programme

The 'Explore Get to Know' cycle serves as an introduction to the RSU B-Space pre-incubation programme (PINK), which will begin in October and run for 12 weeks. Step by step, participants will learn the fundamentals of entrepreneurship – from generating business ideas and building financial and business models to developing marketing strategies, addressing legal aspects, and attracting investment.
