International Cooperation

On March 18–19 researchers from Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) participated in the partner meeting of the international ERASMUS+ project H.A.R.M.O.N.Y. (Healthy and Resilient Mindset with Organized, Nurturing Digital Tools for Your Mental Health) held in Zagreb, Croatia. The meeting brought together experts from higher education, vocational education, technology, and healthcare to collaboratively develop innovative solutions and learning modules aimed at improving mental health and workplace environment.

Participation in the meeting was closely aligned with the project’s objective to develop modern, practice-based learning modules that enhance understanding of mental health and provide practical skills for recognizing and managing stress, anxiety, and depression, fostering supportive environment, and assessing workplace risks.

Particular attention is also given to the impact of green and digital transitions, as well as strengthening mutual support.

During the meeting, special focus was placed on discussing the content, methodology, and intended learning outcomes of the modules. The proposed learning structure was analysed to ensure a consistent, high-quality, and adaptable educational offering.

These models will be beneficial not only for RSU students but also for learners from other higher education and vocational institutions, as well as for managers and employees of small and medium-sized enterprises.

International cooperation

Participation in the meeting provided a valuable opportunity to exchange experiences and strengthen international collaboration. The knowledge gained and the solutions developed will contribute significantly to the advancement of innovative, student-centred learning modules, which have the potential to improve both the quality of education and the accessibility of mental health support in the future.
