Rīga Stradiņš University Business Incubator B-space wraps up successful year with inspiring graduates

On 16 June, at the end of the week preceding Midsummer, five student teams graduated from the Rīga Stradiņš University Business Incubator B-Space.

We want to congratulate our graduates Daniela Solovjova-Vlasova, Karlīna Jance, Viljams Vilhelms Lazda, Ralfs Kazia, Rini Stella Roy Francis Xavier, Dana Skujiņa, Kristers Miķelsons, Luīze Guslena, Jēkabs Vārna, Eva Kočāne and Krists Kristiāns Dērics!

Many thanks also to the jury who did a great job in providing the teams with comments, suggestions and they great questions they asked!

Winners

• 1st place – team Coffee Society (Daniela Solovjova-Vlasova, Karlīna Jance)
• 2nd place – team Devstar (Viljams Vilhelms Lazda, Ralfs Kazia)
• 3rd place – team Aimers Consultancy (Rini Stella Roy Francis Xavier)

Interesting fact: for the first time, an international student (from India) participated in the INK programme and made it to the top 3 on her own.

The teams ExtraCord (Danas Skujiņš, Kristers Miķelsons, Luīze Guslena, Jēkabs Vārna) and ScrubUp (Eva Kočāne, Krista Kristiāna Dērica) also graduated from the programme. Among the participants was also the team GameChanger.

We would like to thank our mentors, guest speakers and everyone who made this event possible!

This year the teams worked hard on prototypes and presentations and made the jury’s work difficult! The passion was evident in every team and we believe that every team will try to develop their ideas further. As an incubator, we will continue to support the teams after the INK programme is over. We want to remind all students that it is important to focus on the process and the results will follow. For our graduates, this programme was just the beginning of their journey to becoming young entrepreneurs!
