On 23 September, the study 'Health Economics Barometer 2025' was presented, and Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) played a significant role in it. This study reveals for the first time how healthcare system funding and service availability affect Latvia's economic development and public welfare. The barometer is based on data and analysis, providing a clear picture of the challenges facing the sector and possible strategic investment directions.

The aim of the study is to draw the attention of the public and policymakers to issues related to the financing of Latvia's healthcare sector, as well as to identify possible strategic investment directions.
