Winners of poster presentation competition announced
A competition for best poster presentation was held at the conference Knowledge for Use in Practice which was part of RSU Research Week 2019. The winners were determined by a jury composed of 110 experts who evaluated a total of 433 poster presentations submitted in 18 sections. 52 posters received the highest score. In addition, online voting took place in over 200 voters participated. The voters were participants and attendees of Research Week events.
Poster presentation No. 23167 titled ‘Assessment of Biofilm Production by Pathogenic Bacteria Isolated from Tonsillar Crypts of Patients with Chronic Tonsillitis’ by Renāta Klagiša, Arta Olga Balode, Renārs Broks, Prof. Juta Kroiča and Assoc.Prof. Ligija Ķīse received the highest score by online voters (76.80, 77 votes, average score – 5.0).
