About Study Course
Objective
To improve students' understanding and skills in planning and implementing a child and family-centered, evidence-based rehabilitation process, integrating functional assessment, multiprofessional collaboration, goal setting, and achievement evaluation at different stages of a child's development.
Prerequisites
General basic knowledge in medical rehabilitation and understanding of the child's normal and pathological development. English language skills (must be able to read and analyze scientific literature).
Learning outcomes
1.Demonstrate in-depth knowledge and understanding of the concept of evidence-based practice in the practice of a rehabilitation specialist in pediatrics, the application of the ICF concept in patient examination and treatment planning.
1.Be able to analyse the child’s functioning in the ICF framework, identifying the interplay between body functions and structures, activities, participation and environmental factors.
1.Ability to synthesise the acquired knowledge and skills and independently analyse complex paediatric rehabilitation situations and make evidence-based decisions within the scope of their professional competence.
