Objective

Endodontics: to provide knowledge of the design of dental pulp and periapic tissues, the aetiology, diagnosis and basic principles of treatment of these tissue diseases. Students will be able to apply this knowledge and skills to patients through timely diagnosis of endodontic disease and referral to the relevant specialist.Prosthetics: To provide knowledge of the manipulation and application of dental hygienist in patients with different dentures, and to provide knowledge of the care and storage of prosthetic apparatus. Explain basic principles of dental prosthetics, types of prostheses, manufacture, effects on oral tissues. To familiarise with the effects of low-quality dentures on oral tissues, methods for preventing them.

Prerequisites

Successful completion of the study course requires knowledge in dental anatomy, oral histology, oral microbiology, immunology, radiography, dental solid tissue pathology.

Learning outcomes

Knowledge

1.Endodontics: be familiar with the anatomy, functions, basic principles and objectives of root canal treatment of dental pulp and periapic tissues.

1.Endodontics: perform differential diagnosis of endodontic and periodontal diseases.

1.Endodontics: students analyze the clinical situation and apply the necessary diagnostic of endodontic diseases.
