Objective

To provide students with systematic knowledge of the structure of the human body, the functioning of skeletal and muscular systems, organs and regulating systems, as well as their role in the implementation of movements and sporting activities. Develop the skills to demonstrate anatomical formations and analyse their functional role in sports movements.

Prerequisites

General knowledge in biology: basic structure of the human body (cell, tissue, organs, systems).Basics of medical and sports science: at least a high school-level understanding of human physiology and principles of health preservation.

Learning outcomes

Knowledge

1.The anatomical structure of the skeletal system and its parts will be recognized and described.

Skills

1.Demonstrate and identify muscles, bones and organs on mulages, anatomical preparations and posters.

Competence

1.Explain the role of anatomical structures in motion analysis and performance of sports exercises.
