RSU Health Day
On Friday, December 5, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Riga Stradiņš University (RSU) will hold its traditional Health Day at Dzirciema iela 16, during which employees and students will be able to donate blood and undergo simple health checks.
Blood can be donated in the RSU rehearsal room of the Great Hall, while in the lobby, members of the student science club will perform health checks such as measuring blood pressure, determining blood sugar and cholesterol levels, determining body mass index, sleepiness and stress levels, checking vision, and providing information about cervical cancer screening. Meanwhile, colleagues from the RSU Career Guidance and Wellbeing Centre will be available to conduct psychological tests.
