About Study Course
Objective
Raise awareness of financial management theories and their role in business management, to develop skills of using the acquired knowledge in scientific research, practical entrepreneurship and educational process for working with students.
Prerequisites
Principles of financial and business management have been mastered.
Learning outcomes
1.On completion of the course the students will be able to demonstrate their knowledge and understanding of:
• theoretical concepts of financial management and the most up-to-date knowledge;
• diverse approaches to creating and managing business financial resources.
Students are able to demonstrate their ability to manage methods of financial management and analytical techniques.
1.Students are able to independently evaluate and choose:
• methods of financial analysis of the business;
• methods for evaluating investment projects;
• optimal forms of financing that are in line with the concept of capital cost and structure.
1.Students are able, through independent, critical analysis, synthesis and evaluation:
• to identify the financial performance and problems of a company;
• to evaluate the types of financing and set out the directions for further development of financing;
• to define methods for evaluating investment projects;
• to identify the directions for increasing the value of the company;
• to use the principles of financial management in the overall business management process.
