Objective
To provide knowledge and promote skills to analyse, evaluate and interpret scientific studies of the evidence in substantiation of care solutions to the problems.
Prerequisites
Philosophy and medical ethics, propaedeutic, introduction into library use, medical terminology.
Learning outcomes
Knowledge
Acquired basic knowledge and understanding of evidence-based care concept, importance, opportunities and sources.
Skills
Students will be able to find and evaluate scientific evidence studies, accordingly present them and communicate about them.
Competence
Upon the acquisition of the study course, students develop the competence to assess the scientific evidence of care, taking into account the health care context, integrating and using skills, knowledge and attitudes appropriate for the situation.
