Objective

To ensure the acquisition and improvement of theoretical knowledge and practical skills in psychosomatic medicine and psychotherapy, with an emphasis on the identification and correction of psychosomatic and psychological causes of andrological and reproductive diseases.

Learning outcomes

Knowledge

1.Upon completing the psychotherapy course, the medical resident explains the types, causes, signs, and treatment options of the most common psychosomatic health disorders (various types of psychotherapy).

Skills

1.Upon completing the psychotherapy course, the medical resident has acquired the skills to identify patients with psychosomatic health problems, basic skills in solving these problems, to see the indications for referring these patients to a psychotherapist.

Competence

1.Using the acquired knowledge and skills, the medical resident will be able to formulate a diagnosis, perform differential diagnosis, develop a structural treatment plan, logically formulate and explain the goals of treatment, evaluate the effectiveness thereof.
