About Study Course
Objective
To provide theoretical knowledge and practical skill acquisition and improvement in pulmonology.
Learning outcomes
1.Student will be able to:
• explain the terms in pulmonology;
• describe the principles and use of pulmonology investigation methods;
• explain the differential diagnostics of pulmonology diseases;
• evaluate patient's respiratory status;
• name, compare, and describe basic diseases in pulmonology.
1.Student will be able to:
• gather essential information about patient's pulmonological anamnesis;
• acquire the skills for investigation a variety of pulmonology patients, to choose and make correct pulmonological diagnostic and treatment procedures, draw up a prevention plan;
• perform spirography and provocation test;
• use appropriate diagnostic method;
• select and use necessary drugs.
1.Student will be able to use the acquired knowledge about pulmonology diseases in practice:
• formulate the pulmonology diagnoses;
• differentiate different pulmonology diseases;
• interpret data from spirography, provocation test;
• use the appropriate method for the investigation;
• choose and use most appropriate medicines;
• argue.
