Basics in Inpatient Gynaecology (RGD_069)
About Study Course
Objective
To introduce with evaluation of inpatient gynaecological patients, with most common diagnosis and differential diagnosis, conservative and surgical treatment options. To acquire knowledge in basic manipulations and diagnostic methods, and also how to set up diagnostic and management plan in inpatient settings. To train gynaecological surgeries on simulators. To train perform simple gynaecological operations (curettage, puncture of Douglas pouch).
Learning outcomes
1.Theoretical knowledge about evaluation of inpatient gynaecological patients, most common diagnosis and differential diagnosis, conservative and surgical treatment options. Acquired knowledge will be applied in the evaluation and care of inpatient gynaecological patients.
1.Skills to perform examination of gynaecological patients, to make diagnosis, to order and perform treatment. Skills to assist gynaecological operations. Skills to do gynaecological surgeries on simulators. Under direct supervision perform uterine curettage.
1.Obtained competence in the care of gynaecological patients, including simple gynaecological operations and manipulations.
