About Study Course
Objective
To ensure acquisition and improvement of theoretical knowledge and practical skills according to the requirements of the specialty of a geriatrician and related to oncological diseases in geriatric patients.
To provide a possibility to acquire relevant knowledge, skills and competences necessary in a geriatrician’s practice when diagnosing andtreating oncological diseases, performing screening and prevention of oncological diseases.

- Features of oncologicaland onco-hematological diseases in geriatrics.
- Most frequent oncologicalpathology in elderly people.
1.Assessment of a patient’s health condition. Drawing up of an examination plan.
Usage of appropriate examinations and oncomarkers for clarification of an oncological diagnosis. Analysis and interpretation of examination results.
Appropriate formulation of a diagnosis.
1.To differentiate potential oncological pathology in elderly people.
To motivate patients to participate in the screening programmes of oncological diseases.
To define logically and explain further treatment tactics to an oncological patient.
