About Study Course
Objective
Ear, nose and throat diseases - diagnosis and treatment.
Learning outcomes
1.You will gain knowledge about the anatomy of ENT organs, diseases, their aetiology, pathogenesis, diagnosis, differential diagnosis and treatment - conservative and surgical. They will acquire knowledge of ENT oncological diseases, their aetiology, pathogenesis, diagnosis, differential diagnosis and treatment. They will apply the acquired knowledge in clinical practice.
1.Examination of the nose and evaluation of pathologies. Use of an endoscope in nasal examination.
Highmore cavity puncture.
Viewing voice links.
Examination of the eardrum.
Perform a tracheostomy.
1.Be able to differentiate ENT pathology from maxillofacial pathology. Be able to diagnose common ENT pathologies, provide primary care and, if necessary, refer to an ENT specialist. Be able to assess head-neck infections and oncological frostbite in order to involve maxillofacial and ENT specialists in the management of these pathologies.
