About Study Course
Objective
To ensure acquisition and improvement of theoretical knowledge and practical skills in understanding and evaluation of the ultrasonographic examination.
Learning outcomes
1.Demonstrates profound knowledge of ultrasonography mechanisms, acquisition and interpretation of ultrasonographic findings, which correspond to the requirements of the sub-speciality. Defines ultrasonographic and clinical meaning and manifestations of different diseases caused by functional disorders and comorbid conditions.
1.Applies the diagnostic skills of peripheral nerve ultrasonography for the assessment of diseases and functional disorders, performs them independently and/or under the supervision of a certified specialist.
The skills to be acquired can be realized both in study course I and II, reaching the total number (the number indicated applies to both years combined).
1.Formulates and critically analyses ultrasonographic examinations of peripheral nerves and obtained results, evaluates studies in the field of fundamental and applied science, conducts necessary additional analysis if a decision needs to be substantiated, demonstrates understanding and ethical responsibility for the performed peripheral nerve ultrasonography results.
