Objective
To ensure the acquisition and improvement of theoretical knowledge and practical skills in facial and jaw surgery, in accordance with the requirements of the Plastic Surgery specialty.
Learning outcomes
Knowledge
1.Understands pathologies and treatment of the face and jaws, anatomy of the face and jaws, topographical anatomy, diagnosis of congenital or acquired pathologies, differential diagnosis, principles of treatment, emergency care in cases of injuries of the face and jaws.
Skills
1.Performs reconstructions of facial and jaw defects (in the treatment of congenital and acquired pathologies).
Competence
1.The resident has learned the principles and performance of maxillofacial surgery.
