About Study Course
Objective
To ensure acquisition and improvement of theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the basic courses of sports medicine: functional anatomy, biomechanics, sports morphology and sports biochemistry according to the requirements of sport medicine physicians’ specialty.
Learning outcomes
1.Knowledge of the mutual relation of sports medicine as a multidisciplinary field of medicine and functional anatomy, biomechanics, sports morphology and sports biochemistry. Thorough theoretical and practical knowledge on the functioning of a human body during rest and physical load and recommendation of individually adjusted physical load and restrictions to patients.
1.Ability to reasonably select the most suitable examination methods in case of diseases or injuries, assess results of examinations and impact of different physical load on a patient’s body.
1.Competence in solving different clinical cases, their diagnostics, etiopathogenesis, treatment, prevention and care.
