About Study Course
Objective
To promote understanding of cosmetic ingredients, their chemical properties and their functional role in cosmetic composition. Understand the basic principles of cosmetic formulation.
Prerequisites
Inorganic and Organic Chemistry within the study programme “Pharmacy”.
Learning outcomes
1.Upon successful completion of the study course the student will be able to:
1. explain the basic principles of the development of different cosmetics;
2. interpret the functionality, potential interactions and efficacy of cosmetic ingredients.
1.Upon successful completion of the study course the student will be able to:
1. analyze and evaluate the safety and quality of products and ingredients of various cosmetic companies;
2. collect literature data on the topic of cosmetics and present them.
1.Will be able to recommend and reasonably recommend to the pharmacy customers the choice of cosmetics.
