On Friday, 19 September 2025, a cooperation agreement will be signed in the RSU Rectorate Hall (16 Dzirciema iela) on a long-term strategic partnership to promote men's volleyball. The agreement provides for RSU's involvement in the Baltic Volleyball League team Robežsardze/ Rīga and the creation of a new farm club, RSU Robežsardze/Rīga.
The agreement will be signed by RSU Rector Prof. Aigars Pētersons and the team's head coach and Olympic silver medalist Raimonds Vilde. The signing ceremony will be attended by Deputy Chief of the State Border Guard General Juris Martukāns and President of the Latvian Volleyball Federation Arnis Tunte.
