RSU data stewards to participate in PMNET Forum 2025
On 9–10 October 2025, the international PMNET Forum (Precision Medicine Networking Forum) will take place in Riga. The forum is one of the leading precision medicine platforms in Northern Europe.
PMNET Forum invites healthcare professionals, scientists, entrepreneurs, and policymakers to discuss key issues impacting Latvia’s economy and healthcare system.
As part of the ELIXIR session, Andrew Smith (ELIXIR UK) will speak about ELIXIR’s potential for the Latvian life sciences community, and Munazah Andrabi (ELIXIR UK) will present best practices for FAIR data management across Europe. In addition, data stewards from Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) will share their experience in advancing open science and research data management practices in Latvia, as well as their involvement in the Latvian National Network of Data Stewards.

The project Support for the implementation of open science in practice, as well as created solutions for science data sharing and participation in the EU open science cloud (No. 2.1.3.1.i.0/2/23/I/CFLA/002) with the total project funding is EUR 3,575,279.40 is co-funded by the European Union Recovery Fund and the Latvian state budget.
