Latvian National Opera borrows grand piano from RSU
News
Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) is delighted and proud to have become a partner of the Latvian National Opera and Ballet this season, leasing the University's Steinway & Sons grand piano to be played by outstanding musicians at the opera.
The concert grand piano was played for the first time during Edward Clug's ballet Peer Gynt on 28 September. Later this year, it will accompany world-famous opera singers Michael Spires (16 December) and Anita Rachvelishvili (18 December).

RSU is able to provide artists and audiences with an outstanding musical experience while the opera's concert grand piano is undergoing reconstruction.
The instrument at RSU is recognised as one of the highest-class concert grand pianos.
