Objective

Objective: Develop students’ knowledge of the basic principles and methodological considerations of intercultural psychology, critically evaluate interactions between culture and psychology, critically evaluate and interpret in a reasoned manner the impact of culture on the psychological processes of the individual and group in modern society.

Prerequisites

General psychology. Cognitive psychology. Psychology of personality and development. Social psychology.

Learning outcomes

Knowledge

1.Analyses, compares and critically evaluates the concepts of intercultural psychology, respecting methodological considerations and using appropriate terminology.

1.Izskaidro kultūras ietekmi uz indivīda psihiskajiem procesiem, uzvedību un identitāti.

1.Able to find, select and critically analyse scientific information and use it to explain concepts of intercultural psychology.
