About Study Course
Objective
Objective: Develop students’ knowledge of the basic principles and methodological considerations of cross-cultural psychology, critically evaluate interactions between culture and psychology, critically evaluate and interpret in a reasoned manner the impact of culture on the psychological processes of the individual and group in modern society.
Prerequisites
General psychology. Cognitive psychology. Psychology of personality and development. Social psychology.
Learning outcomes
1.Analyses, compares and critically evaluates the concepts of cross-cultural psychology, respecting methodological considerations and using appropriate terminology.
1.Explains the cultural impact on an individual’s psychic processes, behaviour and identity.
1.Able to find, select and critically analyse scientific information and use it to explain concepts of cross-cultural psychology.
