Objective

The objective of the course is to introduce to students the socio-economic, political and legal aspects of the international economic and business environment. The course is based on an analysis of of globalisation, legal issues in the international environment and The Green Deal policy. The course will focused on insights of world socio-economic and legal trends as well as involvement of different players in global decision-making relevant to green economic, legal and business trends. Special attention will be given to students' presentations and discussions.

Prerequisites

Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, Introduction to the Theory of Law.

Learning outcomes

Knowledge

1.Knowledge of the architecture of the global economy, the development of globalisation, the risks of market demand and supply chains. Knowledge of technological developments affecting green business research, innovation and factor dynamics. Knowledge of basic concepts and ideas, facts and data demonstrating understanding of the content and subject matter of the study course, EU competitiveness, green industrial policy, entrepreneurship and its socio-economic and regulatory aspects; the specificities and regularities of the business environment in an international context.

Skills

1.• Developing key skills that will have a positive impact on students’ careers;
• collect the results of the research discussions and analyse economic statistics;
• critically assess challenges of the business environment and produce brief reports on trends in the international business environment and their impact on business.

Competence

1.Abile to identify trends and find creative solutions using knowledge in international business, economics, law and innovation, considering modern challenges.
