Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) will host a #BeActive Day 2026 warm-up event, launching this year's European-wide physical activity initiative in Latvia.
The event will present this year's #BeActive Day program, discuss cooperation opportunities and initiatives to promote physical activity in Latvia. The focus of this year's initiative is on the role of physical activity in strengthening mental health and well-being.
This year, RSU joins the campaign as a national partner. As one of the leading health sciences universities in the Baltics, RSU actively supports evidence-based initiatives that promote physical activity, healthy lifestyles, and mental well-being.
The event will be attended by representatives of the Latvian Health and Fitness Association, RSU, sports, health and public sectors.
