Applications for PINK, the RSU Business Incubator Pre-Incubation Programme, are open until 4 October. PINK is a four-week practical programme for anyone who wants to take their first steps in entrepreneurship, create a new business idea or develop an existing one.
No previous entrepreneurial experience, ready-made idea or established team is required. Participants can apply individually or as a team, with or without a business idea. During the programme, they will have an opportunity to meet like-minded people, form a team and develop an idea together.
Contents of the programme
During PINK, participants will gain the knowledge and practical skills needed to develop a business idea:
- introduction to innovation and entrepreneurship;
- idea-generation methods;
- building a strong start-up team;
- turning an idea into a business concept;
- problem exploration and validation;
- building and testing a business model;
- creating a clear and compelling pitch;
- pitching in practice.
Participants will learn how to understand potential customers’ needs, test the viability of their ideas, develop a business model and present their solutions clearly. The programme will also help them prepare for the next stage of development: the RSU Business Incubator Incubation Programme.

The programme will take place in person from 6 to 29 October in the RSU Senate Hall at 16 Dzirciema Street. Sessions will be held in English every Tuesday and Thursday from 18:00 to 20:00. Participation is free of charge.
