About Study Course
Objective
Acquire knowledge of dental radiological examination methods, radiation safety and biological effects of ionising radiation on the human body. Learn normal radiological anatomy and distinguish and analyze abnormal conditions. Acquire practical skills in performing intraoral x-rays.

Facial-maxillofacial anatomy, dental anatomy, dental therapy, physics
Learning outcomes
1.Knowledge of the basic principles of dental X-rays, biological effects of ionizing radiation, occupational safety related to X-rays will be acquired. After completing the course, students are able to choose the most appropriate X-ray methods for a conraptured patient and situation, and are able to analyze the resulting image - distinguish normal anatomy from abnormal conditions, recognize any abnormal changes in the area of teeth and surrounding tissue.
1.After completing the course, the student is able to properly assemble the intraoral holders, insert the sensor, and perform an X-ray. Examinations: BiteWing and Periodic X-rays. Knows how to develop and maniupulate a picture with it in a special computer program.
1.Upon completion of the course the students will be able to use in practical work the results obtained in x-ray examinations for clinical diagnosis and choose the optimal treatment.
