About Study Course
Objective
Acquiring and improving theoretical knowledge and practical skills at the level necessary for an acupuncture doctor on the aetiology and pathogenesis of diseases and syndromes, according to the theoretical concepts of traditional Chinese medicine.
Learning outcomes
1.The student demonstrates the necessary knowledge and understanding of the aetiology and pathogenesis of diseases and syndromes, according to the theoretical concepts of traditional Chinese medicine.
1.The student is able to independently use the acquired knowledge in solving the problems of the aetiology and pathogenesis of diseases and syndromes in line with the theory of traditional Chinese medicine.
1.The student is able to do the following:
• interpret the mechanisms of pathogenesis of syndromes, forms of clinical manifestation;
• collect anamnesis, recognize possible disease risk factors;
• evaluate the degree of disturbance and the corresponding risks by analysing the obtained information;
• evaluate the syndrome under consideration and be able to analyse it according to the concepts of the pathophysiology in traditional Chinese medicine.
