Objective

To promote the acquisition of basic knowledge in general and special pharmacology.

Anatomy, physiology, symptoms of certain diseases.

Learning outcomes

Knowledge

1.As a result of completing the study course, students obtain basic theoretical knowledge in pharmacology.

Skills

1.Upon completion of the study course, students will be able to evaluate the role of drug therapy in the organisation of health care, will know the most commonly used groups of drugs, their effects and side effects.

Competence

1.As a result of completing the study course, students will be able to:
• generalise the risks and benefits of the relevant drug treatment;
• interpret professional information on drugs.
