About Study Course
Objective
To provide knowledge of:
a) mental health criteria and their part in somatic disorders and in prophylaxis of disease.
b) main personality theories; personality functioning levels and structure of personality.
c) emotionally traumatizing aspects during treatment of eating disorders and personality effects on it.
d) therapeutic factors in nutritionist - patient relationship.
Prerequisites
Not required.
Learning outcomes
To analyse emotional etiopathogenic factors in eating disorders, describe indications for psychotherapy for patients with eating disorders.
To be able to recognize indications for psychotherapy for patients with eating disorders and ability to form therapeutic doctor-patient relationship.
To understand and analyse the need for psychotherapy for patients with eating disorders, understand diagnostic criteria and need for combined therapy.
