Objective
Prepare ophthalmologists, who will be able to examine and treat patients with lens diseases.
Learning outcomes
Knowledge
1.Etiopathogenesis of lens diseases, diagnostic and treatment methods, types of intraocular correction, indications for their use and principles of selection.
Skills
1.Must be able to inject subconjunctivally
• Must be able to inject subtenonal and parabulbar
• Must be able to perform anesthesia for cataract surgery
• Be able to choose an appropriate intraocular correction
• Must be able to perform computerized perimeter
• Be able to choose appropriate antiglaucomatous therapy, taking into account the results of structural and functional examinations of the patient's eye.
Competence
1.To evaluate the treatment options for cataract and glaucoma patients.
