Chronical Heart Pathology and Early Rehabilitation after Accute Cardial Pathology III (RKA_033)
About Study Course
Objective
The course is intended for cardiology residents to acquire theoretical and practical knowledge as well as practical skills about: 1) chronic cardiovascular pathologies (etiology, pathology, clinical symptoms, diagnostics, differential diagnoses, treatment methods) and 2) early and late treatment, rehabilitation and long-term prevention after acute cardiovascular pathologies.
Learning outcomes
1.etiology, pathogenesis, symptomatology, diagnosis, differential diagnosis, treatment (drug, invasive and surgical) and prevention of chronic heart diseases;
- etiology, pathogenesis, diagnosis, treatment of lipid metabolism diseases;
- arterial blood pressure measurement and monitoring methods;
- clinical pharmacology of pharmacological agents (including contrast agents) used in the treatment of cardiovascular diseases (including pharmacokinetics and drug interactions);
- principles, indications and contraindications of invasive and surgical methods used in the treatment of chronic cardiovascular diseases;
- therapy and rehabilitation strategy for a patient after acute cardiac pathology.
