Objective
To provide general knowledge about malignant tumours, epidemiology, statistics, complaints and symptoms, early diagnosis and screening, and principles of therapy.
Prerequisites
Anatomy, biology.
Learning outcomes
Knowledge
Will understand and be able to explain terms related to tumour epidemiology, biology and statistics.
Will know the main groups of medicines in oncology.
Skills
Will be able to assess obvious symptoms in patients with skin tumours on exposed parts of the body.
Will understand screening and the importance of reminders.
Competence
Will be able to apply the obtained knowledge of tumour diagnosis, screening and the main groups of medicines.
